Our founder, Bill Whyte, started our brand in the mid-1990s when he was working as a carpenter. His hands would often suffer in the cold New England winters, so he decided to create a soothing solution by mixing beeswax and olive oil to make a simple herbal balm. This balm helped him so much that he began sharing it with everyone he knew, and the rest is Badger history.

We offer a variety of products including reef-safe mineral sunscreens, moisturizing balms for lips, intensive moisturizers, and natural and organic face care. Our products are great for your skin, bad for bugs, and made with sustainable practices. Our moisturizing lip balm is made with a smooth, buttery base of beeswax, sunflower, coconut, and olive oil to leave your lips soft and moisturized for a long-lasting hydration. Formulated with nourishing sunflower oil and antioxidant-rich vitamin E, our lip balms are USDA Certified Organic and gluten-free.
